This is to notify everyone that the tree crew will be here on Thursday March 19th to trim the tall Palm trees around the pool and all parking islands starting at 8 am. 4th of July Updates
Hello,
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable 4th of July! The boat launch has been dredged and fully operational, the pool is in great shape, the dog park area up front is open, pickleball court conversion begins next week, and things are looking great on the property. As everyone knows, we have assigned/paid boat parking on the premise- please make sure any guest/s are aware of this and do not park in someone else’s spot. In order to accommodate owners and guest, effective immediately, we are now utilizing three spots by the tennis courts as first come first serve boat/trailer parking. These spots have a 4-day maximum, any longer is subject to towing at the owners’ expense. Owners/guest utilizing this area need access to their boats/trailers, please do not park/block access for them.
Friendly Reminders:
For those in first come first serve slips, if there are ropes present in the slip it is considered occupied.
Please no open flames on balconies.
Pick up after your pets.
Quiet hours are 11pm to 8am.
Absolutely no parking in front of the dumpster.
Renters are limited to 2 vehicles on site.Bay View Board

Boat Parking Assignments
As discussed at both our last annual meetings we are now leasing parking spots for boats/trailers which will help to offset the cost of dredging the launch and marina lease to the state. Proof of current registration and minimum insurance requirements was necessary for all of these. Parking will be re-evaluated at the end of this first term, with registration and insurance due by April 15, 2026. Just a reminder, here is how the parking decisions were made.
- Full time residents
- Owners with slips and lifts installed
- Owners with slips and registered boats
- Owners with slips
- Other Owners
Effective 5/7/25 attached are the boat/trailer parking assignments. If you have a parking spot assigned, payment of $500 is due to Crow, Shields and Bailey by May 21, 2025. If payment is not received by May 21, 2025 your spot will go to the next person in line. The term for this parking period will end May 1, 2026. All vessels/trailers not on this list will need to be removed by May 19, 2025. Vessels/trailers left after this date are subject to towing at the owners’ expense. General rules for boat/trailer are as follows: - NO subleasing of the parking spot.
- If a unit is sold during the period, the parking spot does not convey.
- No parking in a manner that prevent others from access to their spot.
- Boats/trailers left in someone else’s spot are subject to being towed.
- Abuse of parking rules is subject to loss of spot without refund.
- Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their boats or trailers i.e. fencing, water/power etc…
- Bay View COA is not responsible for any damages to boats/trailers for any reason.
Boat parking begins beside the stop sign at the west entrance with spot 1 and goes up from there in a southward direction. Spot 14 starts at the NE corner of the south parking area and goes around from there to spot 34. We recommend placing a cone in your spot if your boat/trailer will be gone. Spots will be numbered soon.
There will no longer be first come first serve spots on site. Boats/trailers may be parked under owners’ units or stored offsite. There are multiple locations nearby that will accommodate transient parking/storage.
Thanks

Bayview Boat Parking
Good evening,
As you all should know by now we have been working diligently to get the boat parking lot behind building 7 completed to start assigning boat parking by May 3rd 2025. We will send out a notice notifying you if you get a spot and what spot you will get. Once assigned you will need to submit payment of $500.00 to Crow, Shields, and Bailey by close of business May 16th 2025 If not paid by this date you will need to remove your boat and the parking will go to the next in line. Also, your boat needs to have an updated registration sticker displayed on the boat. We have noticed a few boats with out of date registration stickers and they need to be up to date. If you did not sign up, or do not get selected for a parking spot, your boat will need to be removed by May 3rd 2025. If your boat is not removed by May 3rd 2025, it will be towed at the owner’s expense and Bayview will NOT be responsible for damages.
BOAT SLIP RULES
I just want to reiterate the rules for docking your boat in your slip. The rules state your boat must not hang out of your slip no more than 5 feet. We are entering the boating season and we are all here to enjoy Bayview and our boats. Please be respectful and don’t block the waterways with your boat. We really do not want to assess fines so please follow the rules. Bayview will not be responsible if someone hits your boat. Also, we will not tolerate bad attitudes or threats if you are breaking the rules. Orange Beach police dept. will be called to settle the situation. Please just be respectful to everyone and let’s all enjoy the upcoming Summer months.
BOAT LIFT INSTALLATION
If you are having a boatlift installed, your contractor will need to submit their license and insurance to the board. The reason for this is, we don’t want someone coming in and executing poor work on our docks and possibly causing damages or cutting the power to someone else’s lift. All contractors should be licensed, bonded, and insured.
Thank you,
BV Board
